Last Week
It has been great getting to know Ember this week. She fits right in! One would never know she has only been at Brown for a week. She has been quick to make friends as well as learn our routines and procedures. 😊
I received every progress report envelope and we had 2 days that every child brought a water bottle last week! Thank you!
The 5th grade performance was wonderful. 5th graders learn to play the ukelele. It amazes me how well they can play in such a short time. The songs they chose to play/sing were fun and kept us singing the rest of the day.

Snack and Leaders
Your child will come home with the Leader bag the night before his/her leader day. There is a notebook inside with directions for sharing both a snack with the class and a Show and Tell item. Please refer to the calendar in the back of your child's take home folder for leader and other important dates.

Due to an allergy, please refrain from sending snacks that contain any kind of nut. Thank you!
We will snack in the morning each day (our lunch time is 12:25). It is not necessary for you to send a snack with your child, as the leader provides it each day. Thank you for sending a leak-proof water bottle with your child each day.

Next Week Events.
Our Positivity Project trait is -OPM-Cheering Others Successes-I like to cheer for others when they so well.
Science Night is Monday (tomorrow) from 5:30-7:00. It is a fun event to attend whether or not your child has an entry.
There are interactive things to do and lots to see. Sarett Nature Center is coming fun friends to share with us too.
Our next Guest Reader is Dhviya Rupini coming on Wednesday, 3/19 at 3:15. Please bring 3-4 books. We look forward to this time so much!
Thursday, March 20-St. Joseph Public Schools Kindergarten Round Up from 7-8:00 pm at Brown School. This is for parents
of incoming kindergartners and young 5 children. Please help us spread the word!
Please be sure to
- Bring a water bottle each day
- Dress your child for the weather of the day-This Michigan weather has made this tough!
- Empty your child's folder each day
- Return Library books by Tuesday of each week.
- Wear gym shoes each Friday for gym class.
