        Kindergarten Connection Your child's week with Mrs. DeLapa Last Week Please sign and return the envelope your child's progress report was sent home in on Friday. We reuse them all year. Each kiddo that returns it will get a treat. Thank you in advance for getting them back to me.  I sent home a list of the High Frequency words for Cycles 1-10 of our EL Skills lessons. Please practice these often with your child. I think you will be surprised at how many he/she knows 👏. It has been so fun seeing our classmates disguised turkeys and time lines. Things like these help us to get to know each other more and more. I appreciate the time taken with your child doing these projects. They are so proud to share. I will not send a blog next week so this will cover the next 2 as far as leader/snack and guest reader are concerned. The expectation is that we hold conferences with 100% of our families. I appreciate that you all made that easy for me this year. I really enjoyed our time together. Our turkeys decorating the hallway look wonderful. Each one is unique and the entire Brown School family loves seeing each new one hung. If your child has not done one yet, there is still time.         Kindergarten Connection Your child's week with Mrs. DeLapa Last Week It felt so good to be back with your children last week. I'm blessed to have a job that I love and brings me so much joy each day.  Our 50th Day celebration was loads of fun. I hope your child showed off each of the activities from the day. It is hard to believe that we will finish our first trimester next week. Each year seems to move more quickly than the last.  I was able to conference with about 1/2 of our families last week and look forward to meeting with the rest of you this week. Thank you for prioritizing this time together. Just a reminder that the children come to the conference too.
